AHHHH!!! I just came back from the LM. C concert at the Crash Mansion L.A. !!! It was AMAZING!
Jackie, Sandy, and I went to the market around 9:00 to buy tons of fluids, mac n' cheese and chicken. By 10 we were at crash mansion, and the line didn't wrap around the building. We got nice shady seats, but it only lasted for so long. Luckily the ladies after us in line was nice enough to tell us she would watch our stuff if we watch their stuff when either one of us had to go walk around. We made two trips to the shell gas station across the street for the air conditioning. The store was evil, it cost 25 cents to use the restroom so we held the door fro each other. LOL
Sandy and I wanted to paint our nails with glow in the dark nail polish but we didn't have enough time to get them yesterday. So this afternoon we walked around the area to find some place that would sell nail polish. While we were walking to the end of the block to cross the street a bum was talking to a fangirl (who really looks like she's white). She was telling him that she was japanese. Before Sandy and i could cross the street he stopped us to ask how to say "How are you?" in japanese. We were like: " we are chinese..." Even though we repeated that we spoke chinese he kept thinking that japanese and chinese are the same languages. (=_=) We didn't find any nail polish but found out how many blocks crash mansion was from the staples center.
I expected a lot more people to be there, but it was only till the last 3 hours of the concert did the line reach the end of the block. Shade was even harder to get by then.
The bassist and the drummer arrived first in their shiny white van. People crowded around the large doors to catch glimpses of the band. Good thing the doors were made of a fabric material. Through a rip in the fabric of the door I saw the giant pink half the bassist's hair when he was going into the building. I think i was too late and didn't see the drummer. Maya and Aiji got there last (we got wave and see them through that rip in the door!), after all their equipment was delivered. People waiting in line took advantage of the giant shade the delivery van was casting. (^O^) Then white vans started leaving the building again. (probably with lm. c) They came back a while later.
.... now to the part of the day that sucked ... going in....
The staff made the people in line form two lines, and when jackie went to ask why their were two lines the people didn't even know why!! It turns out that one line was for people with will call and the other line for people who had their tickets. Then the staff made everyone shift to line up along the parking lot and so many people lost their place in line because people started cutting when they were forming the new line!!
At 8 we were in the club! We were only three people away from the stage and there weren't any space between the stage and the audience!! The crowd was CRAZY! The show did not even start and people were already pushing toward the front! The girl in front of me was so annoying i had to keep pushing her forward when she leaned back with her giant red wig! She took off the wig when the concert started but she had one of those short bobs and it was still boofy in the back. At least her real hair was soft unlike her wig ( which almost went up my nose!) I tried to stay in the front for as many songs as i can but i had to leave to get air. Kerry got out a song later and we stood in the back for the rest of the concert. Barley half the room was filled so the back of the crowded was still really close.
I couldn't stop jumping for so many of their songs!! Maya was so cute!! He had his big hair today ~ (*_*) LM. C came out for an encore too. They made this the best july 4th weekend i ever had!!!!!!!
